Who’s to say that they aren’t referring to previous generations as well? They never actually mention FiM in the picture. Yes, that’s a G4 picture, but the actual piece of writing could have been referring to any/all generations of MLP.

There has always been “defiling” of MLP, including porn. Just nowhere near as much as there is now.

G1 wasn’t really that innocent most of the time it had a few episodes I’d deem just cute

I confirm for having seen lot of pre FIM sexy pic that MLP was sexualized before bronies ever exist. I don’t micd it since I’m not one of those who believe it the inherent sexual impurity but I have my limits. However the proportion of bad taste pic that go through this limit have rise a little with FIM. I attribute it to the appearance of gore porn base on cupcake, futashy or the decapitation of luna that you might have seen before and the foalcon with the CMC.
 
But since it also rise in every other sector of R34 pic, it must be from our time rather than from the show. Still it would be good it clopper give themselve high standard by producing a porn more elegant than the Internet average.
