@Amethyst_Crystal
I know I said I lacked frame delay but it’s not exactly true; opening the GIF in Photoshop again shows a delay of 1/50th of a second (or 0.02 seconds) for each frame, since putting a delay of “0 seconds” (or anything smaller than 1/50th apparently, trying it again) renders a GIF that runs at roughly 15 FPS, or about twice as fast as this one on the booru.
Not quite as fast as one millisecond per frame, but evidently still pretty fast. =p
Holy crap, I tried watching the (very seizure-warning) frameless version.
It was like staring at a lovecraftian ‘great old one’:
Kinda freaky, kinda funny.. maybe too intense for the mind though.
I mean, a pony-creature constantly shapeshifting so rapidly and contorting its face into wild shrieks and grins and laughs, changing at the speed of sight, or whatever…
Okay I think I need to stop looking at it. :x
Yeah, I’m starting to feel dizzy. Okay, stopping now.
Still a cool gif. Does it have one milisecond per frame?
@Amethyst_Crystal
Oh, so close! I might know how that happened, actually.
See, I pulled up my watermarkless HD copies (with exception to the finale, as they weren’t and still aren’t up yet) and retook screencaps of every face except ones that I knew (or thought I knew) I’d taken previously. It turns out I didn’t previously have them for fancysquish, fashion reaction, and DT’s arin hanson face when I was partway through making the gif.
So, I quickly went and took caps of them, cropped them, integrated their frames, but it seems I was one frame off for fancyfaic. Whoops!
It is my duty to inform you,
that fancypants ’squished ouch’ face ( Princess Spike )
and twilight’s ’cake horror’ face ( Party Pooped )
are in reversed order.
Everything else checks out though!
Yes.
So basically what you mean is that it lacks any meaningful frame delay.

Edited
Turns out it was the season of weird faces.
The meta.

I guess a fraction of Spike’s head in Fancypants’ one counts.
…I suppose.
It’s funny, though; I can spot everyone else’s.
