Gallops more so just a term for a quadropeds running gait, but Ponies probably have a running/endurance level somewhere between humans and actual horses, leaning more towards horses.

Honestly ponies don’t really seem able to gallop, and we’ve only ever seen pegasi managing great feats of endurance.

Assuming equivalent fitness levels a human will out endurance a horse every time but the horse will always be able to travel faster than a human.
