What happened?, The series feels more fantastic season 1-4, but from season 5 until now feels more real. Things changed, but The Mane Six did not change, they are still defined characters, and for that reason we will have more episodes like this until they change.
This, the episode was chalk full of retarded bullshit that made me wonder how it got passed brainstorming
We don´t know at all what they are planning.
And plans can always change, especially if enough people are showing their interest.
Of course G5 will come someday.
But hopefully not too soon.
A few more seasons are not too much to ask for.
Actually i think was decent and very funny.
And it is not the first time that an episode is controversial.
There are more than enough stories for at least 12 seasons without any loss of quality.
Here’s the thing: The S3 being the last one wasn’t a last minute change. I think they changed mind when they still could so there. Here instead, if the S9 was planned to be the last one since 2015, with it being at the last of its writing stages at this point it’s too late to change back now…

1)They already hired the creative leader of the G5 since 2015. This is what I mean by waste of Money (and time) if they suddenly change mind;
2)Let’s be honest Here, and I talk as a big fan of the first half of S8: You saw Non-Compete Clause, that episode was AWFUL and even thought it was an isolated case, if the show Goes on For a S10 onward episodes like that crap would become the new praxis. Just think to How Family Guy and The Fairly OddParents became because of that (I don’t put Spongebob in the mix because since S9b returned being good). You really want MLP going on For so Long if that would Mean more and more episode like that? Think about it….

It was supposed to end with season 3 and yet it continued.
As long as season 9 isn´t official announced the last one there is a very good chance for season 10+.
By the way it would of course NOT be a waste of money because G4 is still very successful.
Besides if the S9 is currently planned to be the final one, it’s too late to change mind now, or it would make Hasbro wasting Money uselessy.
I can speak For that by saying that I found some clues outside of the leaked materials (some of it related to it thought) that implies the end coming soon. First of all Nicole Dubuc on her Twitter implied that she and the other current Writers found new shows to work on soon enough. And also the leaked mails that talk about the G5 mention or are from Emily Thompson, who happens to be the franchise that Hasbro hired in August 2015 (the franchise creative leader is what Lauren Faust was For G4. That implies that the fact that the S9 would have been the last one was planned since years). I think the evidences are quite decisive at this point. They are just waiting the right moment to make the official announcement.
