That song is awesome XD Although I still don’t get how a song about the sacrifice of the Swiss Guards to save the Pope during the Sack of Rome is often associated to the Crusades.
@Slayer819
Don’t worry dude, he’s just an asshole trying to start shit.
It’s pretty pathetic when someone has to go posting atheistic crap on a pic having to do with Sabaton’s song The Last Stand, which has to do with the Papal Swiss Guard’s historical last stand in Rome back in 1527.
Resorting to childish insults when someone doesn’t give into your own stupid opinions.
Yeah, now I’m totally going to listen to an opinionated jerk like you for sure.
And guess what pal?
Anyone can say anything in whatever way they want. You could have someone talk in a very logical way about the earth being flat. Or someone could blatantly lie with conviction and persuasive speech. I could say I’m the King of England in any way possible, but that doesn’t make it true.
I’ve seen a lot of opinionated morons talk on and on about stuff like this. And they’ve always, ALWAYS ended up pretty much just going in circles. End of story.
Atheism and evolution are nothing but a bunch of bullshit people try to tell themselves so that they can feel they don’t have to answer to anyone, they can just do whatever the hell they want and it’s ok.
You can dance around stuff like that and try to avoid it all you want, but you guys will know, even if you don’t have to admit to it, you guys will know that that stuff is just bunch of elaborate excuses in the end.
But I’m done wasting time talking to people who will just do nothing but make excuses in the comments section of a song related pic instead of taking to the forums.
I’m not even sure if what you just said qualifies as a coherent thought. Or, really, if it even qualifies as English in the strictest sense.
Circular logic is when you start with the presupposition that you also intend to end with. Aka “the circle is round because it is a circle”. That’s actually more what you’re doing right now.
“You’re not making a point because no point is being made”. That statement means nothing, and gives no information. It is a tautology.
I wasn’t presenting any specific logic that could even be made circular. A list of proofs toward a scientific theorem is, just that, a list, to support. The presupposition of “evolution happens” is thusly supported by independent positions that do not include the presupposition. The presupposition, and the supports, more like a table. If it was circular, it would be “The presupposition supports the presupposition”.
@Zincy
Sounds like bunch of going in circles to me.
I’ve seen far too much in nature alone for some bunch of BS to change my mind.
And that’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard. Because I’ve listen to how people tried to explain it before, and I noticed something.
It was that they never actually finished making a point, they just kept going around in circles, or at least never actually getting from point A to point B and it being actually finished.
Counter points. Anatomical, genetic, and psychological.
A- The anterior, posterior, and superior auricular muscles. The erector and arrector pili muscles. And the vomeronasal organ. Among other things.
Vestigial organs that serve no purpose to modern humans, left over from previous evolutionary iterations. And, in the case of the pili, are slowly disappearing.
If these are by design, then god is more a drunken tinkerer than a grand architect.
G- There is also the case of endogenous retroviral mutations in extant germ-lines being shared among species.
P- Lastly, we have evidence of psychological traits being shared among species within specific lines, such as the reactions to snakes among primates, or the fact that both humans and chimps use smiles to communicate happiness.
This is not to say the process is not a guided one, necessarily, but it is an existing and provable processes nonetheless.
Anyone can just say or hypothesize that it was evolution that created everything over millions of years.
But there’s two problems with that.
None of us, no one alive today, were actually alive millions of years ago to confirm 100% that some creatures just crawled out of a puddle of goo.
It could just as easily said that God took millions of years to create everything. I mean, unless you take the words 100% literally, the 7 Creative days are most likely figurative.
Even then, could you really say that it’d be beyond all mighty God, with a wisdom and intelligence far beyond our understanding, to create our one, tiny planet in 7 literal days?
It’s hilarious how you don’t, or rather can’t really say more than a single sentence.
I think I smell some bullshit. Ironic.
But I came to a amusingly ironic, well, somewhat ironic realization about atheists, at least the majority of them anyway.
And that was the fact that there are probably plenty of people out there self centered enough to think
“If I just tell myself and others around me that there’s no God, I can do anything I want with no one to tell me I can’t.”
Because not every atheist is a person actually questioning the meaning of life or anything or someone who’s actually been willing to see the hypocrisy in many religions.
My point was and is that there is far too much variety in plants and animals alone in existence for it to just have come by chance.
Now, if it was just a couple hundred, or only just over 1,000, I might agree with that a little.
@Background Pony #3331
I love how people like you are not only so arrogant, but ignorant as well.
I mean, if you just bother looking at the MILLIONS of types of plants and animals in the world, you’d easily see evidence of a design in them all. There’s just too much variety alone for it to have just all come by chance, not to mention how so many creatures have still very impressive instincts to do all sorts of crazy things.
Sir this is a Wendys
Yeah, the song is pretty awesome.
@chubbyninja89
Please take this to PMs or the forums - this is not the place for that.
Says the man who loves going on diatribes.
I like you, you’re persistant. Persistance can be an endearing trait.
Gods willing, you put it to a more constructive purpose than stamping your feet a bunch. It’s bad for the souls of your shoes.

As a Christian, I agree with you.

Whatever you say pal.

Actually, as a Christian, I can say that intelligent design is bullcrap.
I love how people like you are not only so arrogant, but ignorant as well.

And so many anti-theists still wonder why they are so disliked.
Bro, it’s just a song from Sabaton. Chill out.
Sorry to burst yer bubble even though you will not see this response, but god isnt and never was or wil be real.
