I had this idea of wanting to have my family be a part of the MLP: FiM universe. And since my OC, Film Reel, is an alternate version of myself, I feel like having alternate versions of my family. And this is a little comic I made of Film Reel showing Fluttershy a family photo of him with his family (A drawing of what my family’s like as ponies might appear someday in the future. I added in Film’s family members as tags just in case).
 
Here’s each of my Film’s family members in relation to their real life counterparts:
 
Feather Tree: My real life mom has interests in the native american culture and nowadays eats healthy foods. So I named her pony self, Feather Tree, for she not only cooks delicious foods for her family, but has a knack for making cultural foods too.
 
High Tech: My real life dad is good with computers and works (or had worked) with a security company and even travels a lot. So I named his pony self, High Tech, for he works as one of Cloudsdale’s technician.
 
Sci-Fad: My real life younger brother did like reading about science and had read some Carl Sagan books. So I named his pony self, Sci-Fad, for he teaches science up in Canterlot.
 
Fan Flight: My real life older brother enjoys going to war reenactments (e.g. Civil War and World War II) and participating in them, and likes the history of the wars. So I named his pony self, Fan Flight, for he participated in Equestrian war reenactments and hopes to join a real war, but instead teaches war history in Canterlot too.
 
Pettiwhite: My real life sister is actually adopted, so her pony self is an adopted Earth Pony, named Pettiwhite. Although these days, I don’t know what my real sister’s into since i haven’t seen her in a while.
