Then they should all promote some form of nihilistic, cynical fatalism – if Twilight’s fate is to die and have all her education wasted (JUST to avoid becoming a pretty cashgrab princess), then the purpose of life is to become the biggest cosmic joke of a POINTLESS existence.

The show supposed to end here, well not exactly here but with twilight becoming a princess.  
After that, civil war happen in the fandom.
