Is a cutie mark vector I made way back in mid-2011 for one of my own images, where I gave it 6 stars instead of the actual 5 (plus some other differences from canon) and I released because why not. Since then it’s been used on hundreds of pieces of fanwork, and some pieces of official licensed goods; most notably, the Trixie 4DE plushie info card, and now IDW comics.
 
Some of my (and loads of others’) work’s also appeared in those European kiosk comics, and GameLoft’s MLP game is pretty much 75% fanart (it gets really noticeable when they do stuff like use a filly Octavia fanart vector for her in-game portrait).
 
There’s also how CNN used some of my art and recoloured it for a segment ages ago, but they’re not really associated with Hasbro…

Pretty sure they could get sued if they did that.

Hasbro: They drop C&Ds on people, then steal their art to claim as their own.
