I’m provided with a contrast in my human headcanon where Fluttershy is also a nudist. However, unlike Pinkie, she is not brazen with her lifestyle; a major source of her social awkwardness is wearing clothes because mainstream society says so and defying it would label her “weird”.

I feel like she leans more toward the “shameless” end of the scale, to be honest.  
My reasoning, to bring attention to another trope, Obfuscating Stupidity. I feel like while Pinkie may act like a silly, ditzy character, she actually knows a lot more than she lets on. She just acts that way because it’s fun and she wants everyone else to have fun.  
That actually goes hand-in-hand with my earlier statement. She’s aware of the nudity taboo, but she chooses to ignore it because in her mind, it’s more fun to do so.
 
Of course, this is all just conjecture.

I’m sure Pinkie will be fine. After all, she has her methods.

Well said! I for one see Pinkie as a Shameless Fanservice Girl/Innocent Fanservice Girl type; just can’t put my finger on which one would apply best.
 
For those unfamiliar with the TV Tropes terms, the Innocent Fanservice Girl is unaware of the society’s nudity taboo and the Shameless Fanservice Girl is aware but doesn’t care.

Given her current arc, Pinkie looks like she’s about to smash her leg on the other side of that pool and/or her head on the bottom.
