Introducing the Miracleverse! AKA, the Disliked Ships AU, but I don’t use this as a platform for hate. While the universe is slightly… twisted, they are all options that could have happened in the main TFIMverse. They’re a chance to do things with the… standard ships that people have, and using them in new ways, as well as a platform for interesting characters. I want to do some different things with the designs, so I may note the standard designs I tried to avoid with each design. These designs have been done for… an embarrassing amount of time, so expect a lot of the designs at once, I finally decided to upload them. Miracle’s been done since December 11th of 2015.

This is Miracle, the only daughter of Spike and Rarity, and the main character/center of the Miracleverse. The different thing I tried to do with her is most pronounced with Miracle, as the first character I drew in this universe. One of the things I really feel strongly about Spike fankids is that people tend to stick to a certain mold with them and fail to deviate from it, when the very nature of hybrids means that each should be unique; not every single one will get hoofclaws and a pony body with all four paws/hooves matching, so when people draw the same kind of foal, it gets me a bit. So instead, I based her body on Spike’s, and not a pony’s. She lacks the standard ears of a pony and instead has the same ear flaps Spike does, with front hooves and a horn being her main pony bits. She doesn’t have a mane, her spikes simply are very floppy and easily flexed, so she seems to have one, but they are frills, her only fur is on her tail, where she inherited her grandfather’s colors.

Miracle was, well, a miracle. You can obviously tell, from her eyes and nose and general look, that she’s very frail and often plagued with common illnesses due to having a compromised immune system. Her parents didn’t entirely expect to have her, as they weren’t sure they could, but when they found out, they were very cautiously excited. They learned fairly early on that she was going to be born with issues, and it was even in question if she was to be born in the first place. She made it, however, to the shock and relief of her parents and everypony around her, but she’s still a very frail little filly. She can do a little magic, but generally, her parents don’t want her stressing herself out too much. Rarity loves to dote on her daughter, the little miracle that she is, she wears a bow that her mother sewed, even if it’s small, and Rarity loves to comb out her tail and groom her spikes. Miracle loves it as well, especially her bow. Spike is equally doting, but with his size, he’s not nearly as close physically to her as her mother is, with her being so frail. She loves his fire tricks, but he has to be careful with the smoke and heat.

She might be frail and sickly, and occasionally a bit gross (snot is gross), but Miracle is the epitome of sweetness. She is absolutely a little darling, who loves to play with her ribbons and fashion, and loves to make friends, since she doesn’t have that many, she can be clingy, but if you get her as a friend, she’s basically a little angel. She’s always worried about her friends emotional and physical well being, possibly because she’s so often sick, she worries about others being sick. If you are sick, god help you, she’s going to smother you in love and blankets and soup and everything she can (and promptly catch whatever you had, but she’s ok with that)

Spike and Rarity love each other very much, but sometimes they worry they rushed into their relationship, and Rarity faces a lot of skepticism and odd looks for her choice in husband, not for his species, but his age. Most everypony knows that Spike has always had a crush on Rarity since he was about 12, and Rarity was 23…. Even though she only started to reciprocate his feelings when he was an adult, some ponies worry about the implications of child grooming. I can assure you that this isn’t the case, but the implications unfortunately do put a strain on Rarity and Spike, who feel rather awkward in public. Her friends accepted her easily with the slight exception of Twilight, who still worries about the well-being of her little brother/son, but she’s adjusting as best as she can. Spike and Rarity love each other, but sometimes it’s hard. Miracle always makes them feel better about their decisions, because of the joy she brings into their lives, though.
