It is taking all of Starlight’s being to say all that… I know it. But I think she realizes being sour isn’t the right approach. She might use this to better herself and then come out a better pony for Spike later. I hope that’s the case.
Lily seemed a bit surprised by her slightly concerned expression and little “hm?” in the final panel. I think Lily realizes something is a bit off too.
Meanwhile Spike and Vinyl just get along swimmingly all the time! They are the true ship!

Starlight feeling bad about winning? No, not in this comic anyway. The character in any incarnation seems to lack empathy for the most part, but I will give credit to her here, she tries to see it from their PoV. Lily here basically shamed her into not being a bitch anymore. That’s something.
 
Lily though… her depiction in this comic is basically that of a saint. She would feel badly knowing someone else had been trying hard to be ‘worthy of Spike’ and just utterly failing.

How about that? Starlight’s actually showing her growth on the matter of Spike and Lily. I wonder if Spike and Vinyl are playing Risk.
