The Oculus Rift is cool but I’m not fond of how it depends on a PC to work. The Oculus Go/Quest are independent of a PC (this is what I meant when I said portable).

A warning that the Oculus Go does not work with VR Chat. I regret getting that when the Oculus Quest was released a year later that pretty much had all the benefits of the Oculus Rift while being portable at the same time like the Oculus Go.
