Rainbow Dash: That’s the idea! This collar contains Cloudsdale lightning that can shock the wearer. Every time you fail, we go up a level, all the way up to Level 7. You want a happy ending to this little drama? Only if you fly!

Scootaloo: What?!

Rainbow Dash: Level 2!

Scootaloo: Aah! But Rainbow Dash, why are you doing this?! You said you would be my big sister!

Rainbow Dash: I’m doing this to help you and/or entertain me! And I did say I would be your big sister, but you said you would fly, yet you just embarrass me! We resolve it all today. Level 3!

Scootaloo: Uuuh! Okay, I’ll try, I promise!

[Scootaloo starts her trademark buzzing and lurching around.]

Rainbow Dash: Level 4!

Scootaloo [feebly flapping away]: Nnnn! How can you do this to me?! It really hurts! I’m trying, I swear!

Rainbow Dash: I can do this with a smile as big as the skies, and clearly you’re not trying hard enough! Level 5!

Scootaloo [starting to sob]: Eeeeek! Please, Rainbow Dash! Flying is my dream! I cry myself to sleep every night wishing I wasn’t a useless pegasus! I want to fly! I’ve tried so hard! I just can’t! I’m so sorry if I angered you! Please don’t do this! I thought you loved me!

Why do people preface their opinions with ‘Sorry, but’ when they are clearly not remotely sorry? It is not as if you are obligated to spout your opinion. The options of a) giving your opinion without fake apology or b) not giving your opinion at all are very much on the table.
Criticising someone’s writing with the phrase ‘the writing is just ugh xd’ is quite something.
Who says ‘I’m in so much pain!’? Deadpool did, for one.
