It is pretty pointless. Some people will they she deserves a redemption, others will say she doesn’t but ultimately the only reason she doesn’t have one is because the show ended. So in a way that should satisfy both sides. She 100% would have gotten one if the she had kept going, but because it didn’t she didn’t. Its up to the fans to decide.

I think the writers were clearly going to give them a redemption episode but were told to 180 half way though production. This is apparent to be by the episode ‘Friendimies’

I know you don’t mean what you’re saying. Honestly if there was 1 pony who didn’t deserve another chance it was Starlight who DESTROYED SEVERAL ENTIRE TIME LINES, and mind controlled her friends after being reformed. If Starlight deserves a happy ending then there is utterly nothing you can say that justifies Cozy can’t. Starlight’s crimes were fare more numerous and far reaching.
The only reason Cozy wasn’t redeemed is because the show didn’t go on long enough. There is not grand, meaningful message… simply put if the show had another season Cozy and probably the others would have been redeemed.
