Yes and … I found out that the creators completed the first part. Did not play, saw a stream. Humor .. why they can’t hire one screenwriter and give him a month. He will come up with at least 5 original jokes in a month. This is enough to blow up the Internet. But no. Developers who are tired and used to the routine. Plus, it seems to me that they missed initially with the choice to do this project. And now they are adding new things, but the space looks lifeless and empty. Huge and empty. Where no one is. Guys, I’m sure that you will ignore me, but if I’m wrong, let them know that the script is 10 percent of the work, but this is what can ruin the rest of the 90 if it is bad.
For a simple example. I have no idea who these characters are. They are driven by one goal and they are all empty. So, if I come to a new zone, one of the other things happens - either I test my reaction to the world, or the reaction of the character to this world. So, if the character is boring, then my brain automatically removes it from the list of things to which I am attentive. As a result, only I need the world. If your goal was to test my reaction to the world, then the world is empty and boring, if the character’s reaction - why make a giant world for the sake of one character’s goal?
You say you want to teach the player how to play fighting game. Well, that’s not why we’ll come to look at such a design initially. For fighting game, we already have examples. So, this is not your forte. If you just wanted to make money, then you just drove a bunch.

I mostly mean trying to argue with him/prove him wrong is not really worth the effort, as well as making fuss over his opinion. Not a fan of his pony artwork much either. He can be with his point of view all he wants though.

This guy makes great art and has ok sense of humour, judging by his other works. He has an unpopular opinion, probably, wrong, but I don’t think calling him “idiot” or “unworthy” for that is right thing to do.
It’s ok for people to have opinions and be wrong sometimes, right?

Ironic that he’s willing to make quite the quality art though.
I can skip through the criticism of the lore part but the person’s ignorance in the “if you wanted to teach people how to play fighting game then there’re some other ones out there” part is too strong. Typical casual.

Someone else seemed to have been presumed this person actually mocked the writing in the lore. But we can all agree it’s really only his opinion, because looking at the replies people are confused about this writing in particular. Anyway, this guy ain’t worth it.
So an idiot, then. Good to know.
To keep it short, the guy is basically “you didn’y attract me with your big ass worldbuilding, nor the characters which are boring and only six and you made such a big world for them, it feels empty, the jokes are absolutely unfunny hence I did a better writing in this artwork for you to show how it’s done, and also, if you wanted to teach people how to fighting games there’re some other ones out there, you only wanted money.”

Reading the source post they also seem to think the game is a cashgrab or something? I have no idea what they’re trying to convey here
