So i had already discussed what happened to the CMC in this AU here but looking back it kind of feels rushed so i decided to retcon it. Here comes the angsty traaaiiin.

Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle were destined to get their cutiemarks together, sadly they were separated before that happened, with Sweetie moving with Rarity to Canterlot and Applebloom and Scootaloo being left in Ponyville. They waited and waited but they remained with a blank flank.
Up until their teens Scootaloo and Apple Bloom were very close, until they had a big fight. Apple Bloom was moving to Applelooosa to help with the family growing business, and Scootaloo didn’t wanted to be left behind, betrayed again by one of her “best friends. They said many horrible things and yet another bond was broken.

Meanwhile Sweetie Belle had became good friends with Spike(and developed a crush on him), that was before she met Cozy Glow at one of the socialites parties. Cozy had worked up her way into Canterlot society (she is a manipulative spy that works under Lord Tirek) and quickly swooned Sweetie Belle, she manipulated her into believing that Spike only was her friend because of what her sister once meant to him, and Sweetie distanced herself from him.
The CMC current selfs.

Scootaloo became a rebel and has many trust issues, she is often with Rumble who had his “cutiemarks are a waste” phase and is the only one she somewhat trusts, they aren’t in a closed relationship so they have lovers here and there. Her wings never developed (she tucks them into her jacket). She works under Mayor Starlight as a bodyguard.

Apple Bloom moved to Appleloosa and in her late teens she met Pistachio, another farmer’s son, they weren’t so careful and she got pregnant, soon they were pressured into marrying. Their marriage is more of a business one, they like eachother but Apple Bloom knows this isn’t what Pistachio wanted to be. She works as a school teacher in Appleloosa.

Sweetie Belle is a socialite, she became known because of her sister possition. She married Cozy Glow but quickly after that discovered her manipulative self and her disdain for non pony creatures, she filled for divorce while she was pregnant and went to live in the castle with Rarity, she fixed her relationship with Spike and married him. She looks down on herself because she feels that she was such a fool for believing Cozy and being an awful friend while she was with her.
