That can be construed as meaning magic is neither hard work nor traditional. Maybe it would be more accurate to say it celebrates ‘earth pony’ traditions.
Though even that isn’t true. I saw lots of Pegasi fly around during Winter Wrap Up. How come they get to use their powers but ‘magic’, aka unicorn magic is forbidden?
You know, maybe this holiday really is racist.

Doing winter wrap up without magic isn’t racist, it’s celebrating hard work and tradition, which are values prized by earth ponies. True tolerance isn’t about ignoring culture, it’s about recognizing and respecting it.
If the events of the Hearth’s Warming Eve play are even remotely historically accurate, ponies in Equestria were once deeply racist. They overcame it, though, not because of any great moral awakening, but out of the grim facts of survival–the different races of Pony had to work together or face exinction.
So it wouldn’t be surprising to find “casual racism” still present in modern Equestria. Racism would be seen as less of a moral failing and more of a practical one. Ponies would probably not care much if one had racist attitudes, so long as one didn’t act on them to promote disharmony and thus threaten the herd.

Sure their all a bit racist but their strength is that know that pride for one race is not disdain for another and they might not even see it as biological difference but as simple difference in ability ,their relation is symbiotic,they are all stronger with each other (for practice reason ,not just cause the “diversity is awesome” reason) and their society is made better economically,politely and socially by the union of their races…besides it pretty hard to be racists toward earth ponies or Pegasus when your kid can be one too.
@Itsthinking
Sorry buddy. Kind of is. Especially when you’ve got Pegasi like Dash talking about the great pride of the Pegasus clan, and Earth Ponies have a whole holiday that forbids the talents of Unicorns. I’d say they all have the equal opportunity to be racist.
Let’s protest

“Noble savage” views are still racist.

I guess what they say is true.

Is it racist to say that unicorns are more likely to be racist themselves?
Now we know why in the olden days Earth ponies had the most contempt for Unicorns over Pegasi.
