Hey, you draw with the mouse? I often tell artists starting out to avoid places like Derpibooru, because as aggregates the voting system heavily discourages people from continuing. On the other hand, I truly would love to help if you feel you could use it.
 
But for your digital drawings, really, you need a tablet. You do not need a Wacom, there are a number of low-price alternatives great for starters. Some on amazon now priced relatively well at only $50, and still providing necessary functionality to help you learn. Then there are free art programs, like Krita, but your brushes remind me of Krita.
 
Given the low cost of a tablet these days, and your development so far (amazing patience trying to make a mouse work), you totally need one.
