Yeah that looks REALLY good. Rarity’s hair is a HUGE pain to do too. I love her as a character and would draw her a lot more if her hair wasn’t so painful to draw XD

Thanks! Yeah her hair gives so much room for creativity, but it’s almost always the most labor intensive part.

I’m a bit late for this but
 
As a vector artist I essentially never copy-paste parts of one image into a future one. The only exception is when it’s an explicitly identical design such as a standardized icon or emblem (e.g. a cutie mark) in which case I drew it “flat” in a separate image and left it sitting around for later use.
 
Some people seem to presume that I copy-paste everything, which is a mixed blessing. It means I obviously have the ability to be consistent, but implies I draw the same thing at the same angle too often. This is also a common problem for traditional artists who learn to draw by tracing.

Aside from like cutie marks and stuff, I usually only do it for really obnoxious things like Rarity’s mane, or things that tend to always look the same like eyeballs :P
