Yeah, I just generally prefer clean, simple interfaces. I don’t need any fancy login banners, or desktop icons, or anything like that.

Dual monitors, rotating backgrounds. Unfortunately most of the time I have windows covering everything so it’s not like I see much of it. Oh well.

Back in the days when 98/2000/xp were still the most popular OSs, my PC ran 2000, and I kept everything default - the only icons on the desktop were the defeat ones, default system tray, default light blue background, etc. I’ve gotten more than a few comments about that.

That is the other reason I don’t use desktop icons - they’ll always be covered anyway.

The fun thing is though I do tend to use at least some of them. I should probably keep a running tab though on which so I can weed out the others, but I do use those.
 
I also don’t know what to do with the Open Office folder and I’m afraid if I move that I’ll fuck something up, it does sort of have all the moving parts for it in there.

Minuette and Twinkleshine are my current servers. Lemonhearts will also be online as soon as I can figure out how to FreeNAS.

I don’t change mine too often, but it seems this thread gets bumped whenever I have a new one!
