Virtual private network. Basically, all of your internet traffic is encrypted and tunneled through a different server and IP address, meaning you can hide your real IP and location, and therefore have an IP in any popular location in the world. Anywhere from New York to Vancouver to Tokyo.

While I support net neutrality, it’s not like the proposed laws are going to require ISPs to make things worse on us. I’m not too thrilled about it, but I’ll have to see how things change before I complain.
