well I actually read nazi steve rogers journey its comperable to other resent Marvel villeins titles like Thanos or Darth Vader most who call it BS never even read Steve Rogers: Captain America

So… yes, the Hydra version of Cap was indeed an alternate universe version of him all along, and the one in this panel is presumably the real main-universe Cap.
 
Yeah… I’m still not convinced that this isn’t just damage control after all the backlash.

i like hydra cap more than ultimates cap. at least hydra cap is a pretty cool cutthroat villain mastermind, ultimates cap on the other hand is just an asshole.

guys I actually have read Secret Empire #2 & nether rick johns video(he recaps some of events of Steve Rogers: Captain America in his video) or hydra cap himself confirme that hydra cap is from an alternative universe in that issue that’s just the conclusion some people have made & chuck on those didn’t even read steve rogers: Captain America we don’t even know if the steve rogers at the end is actually steve from 616 universe

comic readers jump to conclusions a lot just go to CBR forums & there’s a good chance you will find it. long time comic fans at least on the net never let “things play out” they just jump to conclusion in time frame between the thing being announced to preview of comic or only judging it by 1st or 2nd issue & not letting story play out some even just complain about comic despite never actually reading it & only go by 2nd hand information

One of my friends has also been reading the book, and he says that while they didn’t directly confirm the alternate universe thing, based on what’s happening that seems to be the direction it’s going in.

might but not 100% plus if hydra cap was really from an alternative universe then why is Madame Hydra[elisa sinclair] who raised him & help him move in the ranks hydra since he was a kid also remembers everything hydra cap does from WW2 to now so if was really from an alternative universe she wouldn’t exist in the main marvel comic universe as one example that theory has some holes

Okay then, so what’s the actual proper context of the whole “alternate timeline where the Nazis/Hydra really DID win World War II” thing then?
 
Also, “You didn’t read it” is basically Spencer’s way of deflecting all criticism, regardless of whether or not they actually DID read it. So while it’s valid when you’re talking to me (as I have no desire to read it no matter how it ends up turning out), don’t just assume that everyone who’s complaining about it didn’t actually read it.
