DA 2’s problem isn’t necessarily on the story side. Honestly I congratulate Bioware for doing the opposite of the usual Hero Fantasy story.
Its problem were the load of technical issues. Wave after wave of enemies bungee jumping into combat, everyone’s bloated health bars, a cast that’s dysfunctional in a bad way, only like 2 maps reused dozens of times, etc.
That’s what happens when your game is rushed out the door in less than a year.
