Are you, by any chance in the St Louis region? Our pizzas are super-thin and crispy. It’s pretty good, though the main local chain (Imo’s) has been steadily going downhill over the past twenty years to the point it’s better to just go buy a dogtown brand frozen pizza and cook it up yourself since they cost roughly half the price and taste better.

They’re not bad, but I love Pizza Rev for their create your own and they’re one of the only places I’ve seen that uses tomatoes that are ripe/don’t ruin the crust.

Toppers is great since those garlic roasted tomatoes they put on are orgasmic.

I’ll try to keep it in mind, but I’m practically the only person I know that’s even sort of a foodie, and I rarely get out to Illinois unless I’m visiting some friends because I can’t drive.

My current go-to for non-St Louis-style pizza is Pizza World (a local chain spanning Missouri and Illinois) due to the quality to cost ratio, as well as the variety. One of their online-only coupons is two large gourmet pizzas for $25, and they have some creative ones. Yesterday I got the Spicy Thai and a Ciao Bella (I’d greatly recommend getting this one with olive oil instead of marinara sauce due to the tomato toppings causing tomato overload) I never thought I’d like shredded carrots on pizza, but I think I’ve found a new favorite. Their calzones are great too, and it’s worth two normal peoples’ meals in size for seven dollars.

One of the best traditional St Louis style pizza places in the region is Faraci’s Pizza, but they’ve been having financial troubles, so I’m a bit worried they might be closing down if they aren’t already. Their main issue is that they’re carry-out only, but if you’re ever in Ferguson give them a try, I guarantee you won’t regret it.

Haven’t been to Ferguson in like 3-4 years, I tend to stay on the Illinois side of the river, as well as the immediate St. Louis area (mostly for the Ikea and Microcenter).

Peel is very delicious, but they’re dine-in only (they’re one of those “trendy” restaurants that don’t let you order to-go food). Though there is also Roma’s Pizza in Bethalto, IL, but that is way out of the way from someone in Missouri, as there’s no direct interstate that leads there (you’d have to take IL255 about ten miles north of I270), but they also got great pizza and Italian food.

I kinda wish PizzaRev was in my country now.
