I think you’re supposed to link to their online or Derpibooru profile if they have one, so both of you will be badge credited. 😊

Copy their page url and paste it to the Derpibooru link format, and paste their username into the brackets space to create a text link (example: [user's profile](derpibooru.org/user-s-profile) will get you user’s profile. :)
