9th Anniversary Art Event

oof, I’m so dumb… I didn’t see the post saying the badges had been handed out already… well, at least I’m posting now lol…

The deadline for not following the prompt was on Oct 17. You posted yours on the 25th.
 
The separate deadline was added because quite a few people either didn’t see the prompt or had already posted something before the event announcement.

okay, but Mildgyth specifically told me it was okay to just do a mane six posing picture… could have downloaded Rarity model to get the full mane six and probably should have but since I already had five on the computer I figured I’d just go with that and update it later and make it better which I will either this week or next week
 
If I was told it was not okay I would have done something different… but Mildgyth said it counted if I posted in a day or two with mane six posing for the camera

I think by “posing” she expected the characters to be doing something related to either the “reaching your dreams” prompt or the general “9nth anniversary” theme, not just 5/6 of the main characters standing sill and looking at the camera and nothing else.

well, I didn’t know.. I’d be willing to redo it and follow the prompt because I really thought it was okay and I really want the badge because it’s cool and I would feel better if I redid it following the second prompt  
I should have clarified…
 
Edit: just wanted to say… I am going to start redoing it tonight… it’ll probably take about a week because I only have patience to work on it short periods at a time and I have to watch a few YT vids on how to do stuff  
I’ll just… feel a lot better if I redo it following the prompt and do a much better job this time  
I hope I can still get the badge and qualify but.. if not then so be it…

happened to me, too.. I misinterpreted what a mod said and thought it was okay  
But I’m currently redoing it and will hopefully be able to resubmit by the 8th… hoping it’ll be done by then
 
edit: Change of plans… fuck the badge or redoing it quickly… I fucked up and… it’s over  
But I still want to redo it just… maybe not by the 8th  
I figure why rush

I’ve had a similar issue as Rainboom Dash. I sent a private message to Mildgyth, and they gave a one word reply ‘yes’ that my post was acceptable for the whole 9th anniversary art event, being this one *here . I wondered if it was too abstract or vague to count, and apparently that is so.
 
I’m glad I made that art regardless, and I suppose I don’t care too much for the wonderbolts dash icon, but after having participated in the previous two art events, it is still disappointing to have my attempt at this one declined, despite being told otherwise that it was fine.

That was a mistake. as i said, yours did count but the other person who was giving out the badges besides me probably forgot about you or couldn’t see that yours fit. You got it now.

Thank you for that! I was fine with accepting that there might’ve been a misunderstanding, but I appreciate that I was given the badge still.
