Am I promoting my Patreon wrong?

Recently I posted this image - and the promised materials on my Patreon - in the hope of getting more people there. I was encouraged to do some early access pictures by someone on a Discord server so that people would be more interested.

Despite what I say in the picture, I am going to release these pictures, perhaps in a week or so. They are only temporarily patron-exclusive.
 
However, it doesn’t seem to be working. Am I doing it wrong, and if so what should I do instead? Am I not using all strategies I have at my disposal?

After some more discussion on another Discord server, I realised I made a mistake in trying to promote my Patreon this way. I was already fine enough before this, and I would be perfectly fine without this.
 
I will focus more on my commission work in the future, something that has been going on for longer.
