no one reads the description anymore but they are an important component.

I feel like this would make mass voting more difficult. Maybe even decrease the load on the server.
 
On the other hand, people would just write scripts for their own fave buttons if they will be removed. So it’d be a bit useless.

i thought that same thing as the lack of comment and amount down votes shows that people are voting on thumbnail search results rather clicking on post and then fav it or vote on it.  
(i even wrote tell what you don’t like about it) in description.  
surely some would have said why if they clicked on the post.
 
I also find strange of the lack comments defending the feature in this thread but people want for an unknown reason  
it looks like this feature serves the same purpose as the minimal quality requirements on other sites. people want but they don’t say why and it only hurts new artists.
 
i was told that if system detects mass voting on a tag. it would be flagged for staff review. But id feel would have to at lest 20 images on that tag need to down votes with in a short time for it take effect.

If you feel that one of your images has been brigaded or has been systematically downvoted, please report it for reason of “Other” and ask us to look at the downvotes in the text field.
