I am lolburg
For me I love this show obv, yaknow, I’m here. But this show means a lot more to me than just a show. This fandom, too. This show has saved me, this show has made me happy in tough times. It got me through middle school.
Middle school was_ hecking horrible. Failing most classes, scared about EVERYTHING, and pretty much on the verge of suicide. It was a thought. A lingering thought. It kept coming to me. I got in fights, and I lost them all. I can’t fight. I was a weak fat white kid. I used to watch the weird pony things like smile hd. I even showed my parents that video and holy shit now that I look back at it it is so cringy just to think I showed them that. Anyways, this continued into seventh grade. Later that year, I discovered it. I was browsing Netflix, and I was looking for something to watch. I was sad and _stuff, just tryin to get stuff off my mind, ya know? And I came by it, and I gave it a shot. I was like, this isn’t to bad. And then i was like, dang I like this. I started discovering the fandom more and more. I used to listen to some romantic fanfiction, clopfics (later on), and look at the art. I joined fairly late into the fandom, like 2014 or 2015, but it still today is pretty live. But damn now I look at myself and I’m drawing ponies, hugging my pony plushie every night,just brony stuff, and I’m honestly not sure if I’d even be alive right now without this show.
I’m just curious, like the title suggests, if the show had any deep importance in your life
