Man, this thread must have been super burried because I couldn’t find this after a ton of pages.
 
Anyways, there’s a new trailer for Dragon Ball Xenoverse out!
 
It confirms Humans, Saiyans, Namekians, Majins and Changelings are the races you can pick for your custom characters. There’s some online hub gameplay showing off Tokitoki City after the trailer. Also, Towa and Mira from Dragon Ball Online are back, messing up the timeline again.
 
Dimps is going all out with this game, custom characters, an online hub city, 1-v-1 to 3-v-3 fights, actual combos instead of BoZ’s one-button mashing, diverse supers and so on.

There hasn’t been a good DBZ game in years now. This looks good on paper, but I don’t have big expectations sadly

This is Dimps, the Budokai/Street Fighter people. I’m sure they know what they’re doing. Also, there was a beta in Japan for the game and a ton of people liked how it played. Combos, chains, cancels, teleports and flashy supers galore, plus the intense 6 player battles that feel much better than BoZ’s multiplayer battles.
 
If a beta is making people holler, imagine what the full game will bring!

Don’t want to be that guy. But how many times has the beta and the released game ended up being exactly the same?
 
I saw the beta test on YT and it does look good, but personally, don’t buying into they hype, cause other reason BoZ ended up like raging blast 3, too much hype and good delivery in the end.

Feels like ya never played a Dimps game. The fun Budokai games, the fast-paced Burst Limit, the intense Street Fighter 4, the speedy Sonic Advance games, the sparkling Saint Seiya games and so on. They have a history of good games on their belt.
 
Also, there’s no such thing as Raging Blast 3, since BoZ was made by Artdink and not Spike, the Raging Blast/Tenkaichi people.
 
I know we’ve had some mediocre games over the years, but Dimps is actually listening to the fans this time. That’s why the character creator is so in-depth this time, that’s why there’s actual combo-capabilities along with the large free-roaming fights and it’s also why they announced a PC version.

You ever played Brave Soldiers? That was a huge step backwards from what Sanctuary Battle was. Yes, I’ll admit, it was fun, for a couple hours, then it quickly pummeled down.
 
Not saying that this might not be good, but until the final produxt xomes out, I’m not buying into the hype. And if it delivers, I’ll gladly eat my own words in a silver tray.

Also, someone from youtube datamined the Xenoverse beta and found this info. Warning, the video has major spoilers.
 
Apparently Oozaru, Jaco, Beerus, Broly, Pan, Super 17, Nuova, Eis and Syn might be in based on a list of ultimates and descriptions he got from hacking. (He doesn’t list Jaco, Pan, or Super 17, but their ultimates and descriptions are there) Also, a character named “Demigra” is in the game.

Welp, the Sergio guy who datamined the beta has more info. Almost 200 special attack names!

Not only are there attacks for GT and movie characters, but there also seems to be attacks for original Dragon Ball characters like Kid Goku, Master Roshi and Nam! LSSJ3 Broly also seems to be returning since his Gigantic Omega attack is listed.

I was watching Broly:Second Coming a while ago,and I was wondering,has anyone tried to piece together a timeline that actually makes sense with the movies.The movies almost never make sense with the series,so it makes it all the weirder when theres a sequel.
