Kids Stuff turned into something for Grown-ups

 
About the photo, I apologize for not finishing the sentence as I thought.
 
Osomatsu-kun = for kids/shonen | Osomatsu-san = for adults/josei  
Super Sentai = for kids | Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger = for teens and adults, especially otakus  
Kamen Rider = for kids | Kamen Rider The First, The Next and Amazons = for adults  
Power Rangers = for kids | Saban’s Power Rangers (2017) = for teens and adults. (Because it’s rated PG-13)  
Transformers = for kids | Bayformers = for teens and adults. (Same outcome as PR2017, but before it)
 
Outcome = people don’t mind a mature version of the things mentioned. (Even if PR17 and Bayformers might get hate from others)
 
But when MLP, a franchise for kids, gets suggestive (saucy) to explicit (R34) stuff from fans (fanart, fanfics, etc.), people are acting like it’s the end of the world and will prevent it from getting a PG-13 incarnation like MMPR and Transformers did.
 
And people say it’s a cartoon for children and use it as an excuse to hate these kinds of things, and yet they didn’t say that to Yoichi Fujita, Pierrot, Toei Company, Saban Brands, Dean Israelite, Michael Bay, Naruhisa Arakawa and Yasuko Kobayashi when they turned those franchises made for kids into something for older audiences.
 
How? Discuss.

Is nobody even paying attention?

I think it’s because the accepted adult versions are official. Somehow that just feels ironic…

Yeah but it had something to do with people allowing the Transformers films to be PG-13 without anybody complaining about it and yet the same can’t be with MLP because of the people who whine about pony porn.

I mean, seriously, LEGO and Doctor Who has nothing to do with the fact that people don’t get bothered over the PG-13 rating for Bayformers and MMPR 2017, and yet people get bothered over smut fanart of MLP. Which it makes NO sense.

That’s good. Same with the upcoming Mario movie coming a few days from today.

Because being rated PG and G/Y and Y7 can be consistent to the Franchise’s target demographic.
