Semi-Official Game Server Thread

I’ll add it to the list in the OP.

So…yes, does anyone actually frequent the semi-official game server for TF2 besides me and Vlakc?

Well, I’ve played with all the following people at least once.
 
“CrashSucksMariosaGOD”,“Applejack”, but I don’t know exactly when exactly they use to play, I’ll say random XD
 
“ApplejackFrost” too, but he said his summer classes started or something like that, so aparently he wouldn’t be able to play much or none at all for now.
 
“Carcer” and “The Smiling Pony”, but I guess they only play on weekends and such (I could be wrong).

Summer classes are Monday to Saturday. That does not leave me with much time to play TF2.

Hey, anyone got a 3DS, and “Mario Kart 7?” I found a brony “Mario Kart 7” community, but sadly it has no players/members yet.

Every time I go to the server it says “the server you’re trying to connect is running an older version of the game” ¯(°_o)/¯

I’m updating it now. It’s supposed to update itself automatically when the map changes but apparently that’s not reliable.

okay, NOW I’m coming on, had some trouble trying to get skins to work.  
Steampipe gave me frustration. :P

I’d get on the TF2 server if I saw other folks on.

well I don’t know if you already joined the steam-group, but anyways, I usually play during weekends, around the morning and evening of your local time (since I live in Europe)

And I was on earlier until Vlakc and Crash got on. Then I got bored doing 1v1/1v2 and decided to do other things.

Good news for Doom fans, specifically those running Zandronum!
 
I have created an official Brutal Doom co-op server! Currently, it has the first five maps plus Wolfenstein available for play in shuffle.
 
The IP is 192.168.2.14:10666. Slight problem, I personally can’t connect to the server, which can’t be good.

The IP you provided in that post is a local network address. You would have to be on the same LAN as the server for it to work. How exactly were you trying to run this server? From your home connection?

Ran it from home, didn’t think I would need to have a hosted server. Guess that worked out worse than expected.

It’s still possible to run from your home connection if it’s not a terrible one, and less work (and expense) than renting somewhere to do it. Some work would still be required, though, and if you can’t set up port-forwarding to the machine on your router then you’re pretty much sunk.
