Unpopular opinion time (super alpha no pony edition)

Remember Whedon was brought in to stitch together a half finished movie that had a ton of executive meddling already

You know I know Knack is the “best game” according to Dunkey, but in all seriousness I actually did think those monsters looked cool. It did actually make me think, this was cool like it was gonna be transformers.

To me, quite often liking characters for being cute is like liking a cake for its sprinkles, even if the bread, frosting or even the jelly inside might be subpar.

Cuteness its always a good complement but I don’t like it as the main draw.

Thats unfortunate, given how easy training ai voices are, voice actors dont really have much of a say. There are whole websites dedicated to letting you clone someones voice. Honestly, it’s amazing.

You don’t seem to understand lol, not for long doesn’t matter, ever since it became a thing on certain websites, anyone can AI clone someones voice, it’s beautifully easy. There’s backups of all these ai voices. People that tried to get their voices taken down like Erica Lindbeck and Grey DeLisle were told “lol no”. Its a “genie out of the bottle” type of thing. Even something like the No Fakes Act and the Elvis Act can’t do much, a good chunk of people working on this stuff will just go underground, or don’t even live in the USA to begin with :3

You seem to not realize that they could just make using them for marketing and/or financial products illegal, as well as other countries adopting a similar policy. There’s also how if it’s bad enough, they can strongarm the government into letting a force into the country and grab the abusers.

Most likely the 2nd one. Twitter sucked and now, it sucked more but not really that lower. The biggest issue with Twitter as of the moment are the crypto & scam bots, which isn’t being fixed on account of Musk’s own love for anything that’s a cross between money, digital technology and the legal system loopholes. He probably thinks the bots are bad but he doesn’t care enough to get his people to deal with them because he also likes doing that.

I feel like Musk wanted to buy Twitter as a pet project perhaps as an idealist reformer, but once he got in, he wasn’t ready for the challenges maintaining a colossus like Twitter would bring.

He’s the guy who probably prefers big concepts like self driving cars, space ships, neuro implants. Running a website is the last thing he would be interested in. Fixing something like bots probably would bore him to death.

He might have even realized he was in way over his head but now it’s too late to back out so he might as well go all in.

The stupidest idea of Musk was not him, changing Twitter to X. It was even why he would buy a website at all if he wasn’t ready for the obligations that come with it.

No he literally made a joke in public about buying Twitter and then the courts made him follow up on it

It’s definitely worse under Elon which is an impressive feat in and of itself, but anyone who thought it was going to improve under him is either lying or retarded. Pretty much every change was only made things worse and punished normal users, not to mention the site’s bot problem has only become worse despite saying it was the first thing he would fix

Pretty sure he bought it “for the memes.” Also, aren’t the people who work under him admit he does nothing of value and they pretend he does to make him feel better? Twitter is what happens when he has actual control over a project.

Moreso he bought all the seats needed and signed every line required to buy it before realizing buying Twitter as a meme wasn’t a good idea, so the count had to spank him for trying to weasel out of his deals.

twitter is cancer independent of musk. a big part of the reason musk was able to buy it was because it was so cancerous that it lost enough money to be affordable for him. also a lot of people misunderstand the whole scuffle with the courts and musk buying twitter. what you saw there was how buisnesspeople haggle over price.

I keep wanting to say to elon. “listen elon, I know you mean well with twitter but you can’t fix her.”
