Unpopular opinion time (super alpha no pony edition)

Considering I’ve slept with somewhere in the order of 7 men over the last 10 years, that’d be a hard sell.

The police department in my hometown had a float in our pride parade last year. It was taken, poorly.

To their credit though, our city cops are actually pretty chill and we’ve had no incidents of police shooting anyone in over 10 years, and the deputy chief is a lesbian of color.

The only good change to Twitter during Musk’s “leadership” is community notes, and the dark side of them hasn’t been publicized enough for me to see whether it’s just good conceptually or legitimately well-executed.

Unlikely. X and whatever it can or could be has been his project since he was working as co-owner of PayPal in the nineties. So much so he lobbied for Then-Not-PayPal to be X.com. However no one wanted to do that and on top of being personally really annoying and writing only shitty code he was forced out by Peter Thiel and sent on his way with a golden parachute. He eventually bought back the naming rights for X.com and had been holding it in reserve since. It’s safe to say that what he doing with Twitter isn’t because he wants to crash or, or not only that but that he’s trying to turn Twitter into what he believes his X is and should be. He just happens to be in direct control of everything, is a personally shitty person, and while also trying to realize X is also responding to every little and large thing happening around him and to him as he does it

Fair enough. Thinking about it now, I would probably really only sign up for the NSFW art. The kinds of people tho during certain discussions are part of what’s keeping me away from the site & as I do have moments of weakness, it wouldn’t really do me any good at all. & way before Elon made it so that only people with accounts can see certain content, I did come across a few users who shared some of my art on there (with credit) & I was quite happy to see they liked it enough to share them. Same thing with Reddit too, there are some NSFW subreddits I want keep browsing through but I need an account which I honestly have considered but I haven’t for the same reason I haven’t signed up with Twatter.

Nothing wrong with feeling that way & it’s definitely not phobic in anyway. Some gays even feel the same way. No one likes being pandered to. It’s virtue signalling at its finest from the folks who never show the same enthusiasm after a month.

Seeing all the memes that I see of it regarding corporations and how they get rid of it right when the months ends, I would say that’s hardly an unpopular opinion.

To me, the idea of a month dedicated to the LGBT community isn’t a bad one, it’s just companies cynically marketing off of it and painting it a bad picture for a lot of people. Of course you don’t need a whole 31 days just to show support and respect for the community, you can just say hi and strike a conversation with one about shows and sports literally any day and that can be your suuport.

I don’t really know what I saw in I Hate Everything’s early videos. To me, many of his opinions were surface level critiques. His Sonic video might have been a joke but he literally implied Sonic copied Mario. His MLP video had basically no real critique or insight. His Fnaf review tried too hard to compare with more conventional horror games and his Furry video I think was kind of insulting.

I think he does better as a film or game critic like watching Cool Cat. And luckily’s where he focuses more on nowadays.

He is called I Hate Everything for a reason. I don’t really watch his stuff though.

I kind of feel like anime influenced western cartoons have run their course. We get it anime is hip and cool. But it’s not 2005, anime in the west has been around for so long it’s not even surprising anymore.

I think it’s time we move on to other animation styles. X Men 97 did great in reviving the old early 90s style of animation.

I want to see a revival of maybe like classic western style animation like we saw in Gargoyles or Ducktales.

Or heck maybe we need to go to France to find some new influences.

I used to watch his earlier stuff too, and I believe they were towing the line between serious and comedic, like ADoseOfBuckley

as a general rule whenever I encounter a fandom that’s super toxic I tend to gravitate away from the thing that the toxic fandom has sprung up around. although it takes a lot to get under my skin and in my mind only one fandom has ever gotten me that viscerally angry.

I like his Destiny videos. Also I’m pretty sure he’s supposed to be more tongue in cheek and as Wayne said he’s called “I hate Everything”.

Dance Monkey is a good song and I disagree with it being considered one of the worst songs ever, I have heard far far FAR worse than just some Australian girl with a repetitive chorus and an unconventional singing voice.

Being anonymous to inflict verbal harm or troll others is cowardly.
