I’ve put all my caps to Pav due to his sheer brute power but I didn’t realise just how really fast Tom is. Pav is also fast but never in my life have I thought that he would get outblitzed by a guy slightly taller and heavier than him. This fight actually was a matter of who’s gonna get whacked first. Tom Aspinall is stupendously fast for his size. 🥶

Also about Pereira, his career run in a short period of time is up there with Randy Couture, Brock Lesnar, and Rampage Jackson and also, possibly the first guy under those timeframe to be the champion on two divisions. He can also make Heavyweight, he would be legendary if he wins a title there. (Btw he ain’t gonna match Aspinall’s speed so good luck with that)
However there’s always this issue with him and the ref Marc Goddard that the stoppage was early. I hate how we went from late stoppage by Mario Yamasaki to early stoppage by this guy. The argument was already closed when Jiri himself said that he was out. Like, ey…cmon!
