The most common weight-cutting technique used by fighters is to begin starving themselves of food and water in the days leading up to a fight, before using a combination of sweat suits, towels, and saunas to dehydrate the body and shed as much water weight as possible.

This is like the equivalent of going to hell and back.
As an avid Pacquiao fan since childhood, I won’t be surprised if he loses tomorrow because of the peer pressure of all the issues he faced back on his political side many weeks ago.

This Ugas guy looks stiff AF on most of his highlights so wishing muh man the best of luck on his fight.
Pacquiao fought as hard as he could. His age has finally catched up to him but like I’ve said, Ugas looks really stiff and strong during the fight.

To many they say the fight was equally draw but nonetheless, no robbery occured here this time.
I swear, weight cutting in my opinion, is the most difficult task I’ve ever seen in my life if I were to become a combat athlete.

For example, you are booked to fight an opponent in about a few weeks before the event but you weigh more than 50 pounds than your opponent. All you need to do is to not eat or just take as little as less than 300 calories per day, not drink for several days, wearing or being strapped in some sort of thick tight jacket for many hours and absolutely exercizing your body far beyond it’s physical limits all in just a few days before the weigh in. Most fighters a few days before the weigh ins usually pass out from starvation or dehydration which leading them from being cancelled out of the event. You will be disqualified out of the event if your weight does not meet the required amount of weight you are supposed to weigh.
Basically a few days ago, Khabib made a statement regarding the ring ladies being useless in a PPV and has caused alot of backlash against him to the point he’s being called sexist and Karen.

What he said was ring girls dont contribute nothing to martial arts and don’t advance the sports at all.

He knows the aesthetic value of it, but given that he a very disciplined muslim from crazy mountain he’d rather not have ring girls who are there purely for the eye candy.

Eh. He ex-champ, retired. These backlash wont matter too much for him.
@tehwatever
Personal opinion by him, he no simp to the core thanks to his religion culture for sure.

But he’s trying to stand up against the sports notion of having a half naked chicks before a fight for so many years because that’s how the system goes, Capitalism! they also get paid for it. Surely, that would reign alot of backlashes and mixed reactions on people who are completely fine with this.

(Ring girls are just there to make people’s pp hard and that’s straight outta my mouth!)
