Free? No. Still, a digital copy of the book should only be $40 on DndBeyond. If your DM has a Beyond account with the PHB and the gold membership, they can share their books with you.

Books like Xanathar’s Guide to Everything and Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything add options, but the PHB has plenty for a first character.

Season One of Fargo (The Series) is about a PC bullshitting his way through a campaign gone off the rails, and features a frighteningly competent murderhobo.

Anyone seen that cartoon from Amazon about those streaming DnD nerds? Thinking of buying that.

I tried doing that once with boss in one of the campaign I was in…ended up blasting it with a magic missile. Still got to play as a birdfolk arcane trickster.

I stumbled across this by random surfing. And at first I thought it was a bit cringy, but in the end I found it really hilarious and really laughed my ass off at some of the alignments. Because of the adult humor and the drawing style I would NOT necessarily call the video SFW. ;-D
