Great Bend is also a small town of about 15,000 residents (according to Google and Wikipedia.) My town; Springville, Utah; is double that, and has the added benefit of being right next to Provo and an hour's drive from Salt Lake City. ||And only a 6-hour drive to Las Vegas.||
What possessed them to hold a furry con in the middle of fucking nowhere, anyway? I mean, Wichita is only 91 miles from Great Bend, according to Google. They'd have a much better chance of success in Wichita.
