Sometimes I wonder if I make a cartoon I should set in the 2000s or even the 1970s. Not for the sake of pop culutre nostalgia, but more because it would be an era before smartphones and satellites make situations less interesting.

Maybe to have a timeless feel.

I mean with Spongebob, its so timeless, that show could be set in the 1970s and you wouldn’t be able to know.
