I would note that only a small fraction of the right has been purged from social media. People with millions of followers are complaining about losing a few thousand. This is a problem that is limited to violent extremists. That one of those violent extremists has nuclear launch capability is a problem for different reasons.

It’s quite easy to understand when you subtract the riots. One group is calling for justice and fairness - the other for the overturning of the results of a democratic election. Giving the former at least a lot of what they want is an obvious good -it’s hard to see the good in complying with the latter.

That’s not quite true, because at the beginning it had what would be called left-wing policies. Once Hitler took over and deposed of the Strasser brothers however, it was as we remember it: a far-right authoritarian nationalist party.
