Because if they ultimately end up getting into any positions of power and/or significant influence, then they could possibly potentially use their own viewpoints/ideological stances to influence how things go down in whatever political positions, fields, or non-political industries that they would end up controlling, having an influence in/on, or anything else that’s similar.
We’ve already seen certain specific institutions and companies cave in to certain demands of such people in the past, so it makes no sense to believe that there’s absolutely no chance of these vocal minorities getting more and more of a say/influence in the activities and decision-making processes of such organizations, both public and private.
