I mean they’d have to go through Russia, which kinda limits who can find him, if China or America don’t feel like it. I remember about some supposed criminals to the USA hiding in the middle east for quite some time. They hid in caves and had lots of body doubles, and all the folk over there likes to be covered head to toe.
If all of Putins body doubles actually look like him, that would be lit. Get them all arrested and make them sing in a chorus for a Gangsters Paradise cover.

On the other hand, most of the countries that commit war crimes these days aren’t parties to the ICC, so their jurisdiction is kinda limited. But if it means Putin has to make excuses not to visit Tajikistan (the one CSTO country that did ratify the Rome Statute), it’ll be hilarious.

The ICC’s decision is both morally correct and totally meaningless (and Putin knows it). There’s zero reason to believe he will be arrested even if he sets foot in an ICC country (which, BTW, neither the US, Israel, China, India, Russia, and even Ukraine are part of), especially if he has armed security with him (which all world leaders do). Because the ICC is an overrated institution that’s as incapable of its job as the UN has been for the last nearly 80 years (as long as nuclear weapons and the very concept of “countries”, “empires” and “identities” exist, there will never be world peace).
Sorry for my cynicism and pessimism, but there’s absolutely no way this war will end well for anybody at this point. Nuclear apocalypse or total Ukrainian defeat (or both), both of which would be devastating, are the only outcomes I see here. I’d love to be wrong, though.

In the latest “Is Florida okay?” news, Florida textbooks are removing all mentions of race in their history. This includes events like Him Crow or even people like Rosa Parks.
In the current lesson by Studies Weekly, which is used in 45,000 elementary schools, the event is described: “The law said African Americans had to give up their seats on the bus if a white person wanted to sit down.”But in an early version created for Florida’s review by Studies Weekly, the lesson changed to: “She was told to move to a different seat because of the color of her skin.”In the group’s second updated version, race is removed completely from the lesson: “She was told to move to a different seat.”Studies Weekly also made changes to their fourth-grade lesson about segregation laws.In the initial version, the text explained how Black Americans were affected by Jim Crow laws that arose after the Civil War, but like its updates to the Parks lesson, the second version eliminated almost every direct mention of race. Instead, the lessons were changed to say it was illegal for “men of certain groups” to be unemployed and that “certain groups of people” were not allowed to serve on a jury.
To be fair, we don’t want our history books to be “Woke” by mentioning race, right?

Florida sucks.
Hot, expensive, overcrowded. it’s full heat and humidity, homophobes, conspiracy theorist, gun nuts, drug addicts, hurricanes, and lots of mosquitoes.
Beware of tourist destinations, sometimes it’s a trick for poor areas to milk tourist, and criminals hang out in high concentrations around tourist areas. Dare say homeless people too, homeless people sit in the middle of dense areas so more people give them stuff.
Only about upper middle in crimes and violence though I think.
Still don’t think Florida sucks? I live there too, that ain’t a good look for Florida.

Getting really tired of seeing the media puff up moderate/“sensible” Republicans who voted to authorize the Iraq War calling for Biden to “do more” on Ukraine when their own ideas (which would involve all but declaring war on Russia and sending US forces to Ukraine) would get us all wiped out in a nuclear holocaust.
Don’t believe me? They were all advocating for Trump to preemptively strike North Korea and Iran.

This is why everyone should move to Ohio. Sure our water will now kill you (Thanks Norfolk Southern), and there’s the equally dangerous problem that cornfields are everywhere, but other than that Ohio is pretty okay.
He had me right up until he complained about getting paid to get rid of old cars or a minimum wage increase.
California isn’t expensive because it has a (still too low) minimum wage, it’s minimum wage is twice the national average because everything is expensive. And that’s because California has a high population density making space a premium.
