It seems like Ron’s numbers took a big hit from people who didn’t want to sit around and wait for Elon to get his shit together. According to this article, there were roughly 400K people lined up to watch at one point. If it was down to 100K by the time they went live, that’s a lot of people saying “screw it, I’ll watch it on YouTube tomorrow”.

The technical difficulties overshadowing the content of the announcement isn’t great for DeSantis, but it’s even worse for Elon, and I’m okay with that.
