That would be the new challenge. A human can’t beat it because the machine is infinitely faster and actively fights back rather than remaining passive with basic firewalls. Meaning to breach one would require building from scratch a more advanced machine in which case the cost alone of such a feat comes to mind. Guess we’ll see in the future.

Anyway there’s word that German Publishers want to have a “3 words only without a license” rule when it comes to quoting stuff for the German proposal for the EUCD.
 
Thankfully it’s currently not part of the proposal but that could possibly change so keep an eye on it.

As long as you’re in the US it should be fine for now. Other countries have virtually nothing protecting a freedom of speech and expression as it relates to the Internet though. So the government can pretty much do whatever they want.

I am from America, But fanbases have fans outside my home country and I am concerned for their rights.  
But if it were Russia or Turkey proposing that, It would probably be TEN TIMES WORSE.

Authoritarian countries like Russia, Vietnam, and Turkey are very restrictive in terms of web freedom, But at least allow access to sites like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. While other authoritarian countries like Iran and China have completely blocked access to western websites.

Those are commies for ya. Can’t have any non State approved information falling into the hands of their subjects. Lest you be disappeared. And that’s part of what’s making their Coronavirus outbreak so difficult to control is the manipulation of facts and information by their government.

Control is the ability to offer something, and aways take it back anytime. of course the dictatorships that aims to stay won’t ban a site, but like here, there’s judges who can ask a site to comply and release info.  
Social media knows that and they will proceed, for most. Apart sites that specifically don’t store data, and even have a canary in case of subpoenas, so users knows when it’s not safe to express your views without anonymity.

So basically, The DOJ is holding a 230 workshop today with both sides (Pro-230, and Anti-230) attending, And I’m already fucking terrified.
