So, uhn… I’m here…
…Not entirely sure what to say…
…XOver sucks and Archie Comics is the bee’s knees?

My favorite Mega Man is probably the fourth one.
X series? Uh, I think X2 or 3. Definitely X3 for the soundtrack if anything.

X2 is my favorite X game ever, possibly my favorite game in the entire franchise.

I did, wasn’t a big fan of it. Not that the game was bad, just wasn’t entirely my groove.

I don’t like saying definitives willy nilly. I mean, Mega Man Battle Network 6 is a pretty heavy contender.
Though X2 does have my favorite theme in the entire series.

TBH, after the first game in the X series, although all the Classics run a pretty close race for me, there has been a some sort of marginal draw to MM2 I can’t entirely explain (and probably has nothing to do with what the other fanboys are fixated on); I never entirely understood why people shit on 7 and 8 (hell, if 8 were on the SNES, people couldn’t complain about the badly dubbed cutscenes that’re mostly arbitrary to the game itself and aren’t all that much worse than the ones in X4 where nobody seems to care ‘cuz they get to play as Zero).
…I actually suck too much at most of the X and Zero games to really enjoy them; I similarly couldn’t get into Legends, nor the Battle Network games for that matter. Command Mission was actually my first JRPG and, since I couldn’t really get into most of the ones I’ve tried, I suppose it might technically be my fav (though it kinda makes me feel dirty to say that).

I don’t get why people bitch about 7 and 8 either, they’re still good games. Sure, they’re not THE BEST, but neither were 4-6, and nobody seems to have a problem with those.

…well, aside from the MM2/MM3 Master Race bullshit, I guess they don’t…
…they certainly didn’t have a problem with 9 and 10…

Yeah, me too, went over a shitstorm about it.
I mean, why remove the dash and charge functions? They’re almost iconic to the character. Hell, charging your attack is the one thing that made in nearly every incarnation of Mega Man ever.

I like most MM games. Just not MMX7 / 8 and those shitty mobile things, but that’s pretty obvious.
Hell, I even liked Powered Up. (Mainly because of the level editor)

Well of course, Powered Up is a good game, even if I’m not crazy about the art style.
Also, it did give us the wonder that is Oil Man.
WAIT HOLD THE PHONE YOU DIDN’T LIKE X8?

I assumed it was the same as X7? I didn’t play it. If it’s not then I guess I don’t dislike it.
I just never felt like touching the PS2 games.

From what I’ve heard, it’s loads better than X7. Sure, it doesn’t sound like much, but it really is better than X7.
