Video Game General 2: Definitive/Remastered Edition

Was “The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D” really terrible? Because I had a blast from start to finish and I still don’t see anything wrong with it.

Johnny Cash, Blizzard’s lead quest designer for WoW not the dead musical legend, has left the company.

One of the few remaining “good people”, Cash was known as a champion of diversity and is viewed favorably by the community. Quests, and questing has remained one of the bright spots in the game, with Cash having crafted some of the more popular quest chains since his elevation to lead during Warlords (with quest design being one of the only good things in that Xpac), and oversaw the class order hall quests in Legion. He’s also the one who designed the pet battle system, which despite its janky launch ended up being a very popular feature.

His departure marks another major talent loss for the flagging company.

I have to say, the lines for the Goliaths when you shoot their helmets off would be hilarious if they didn’t have the ability to jump halfway across the map to punch your face out through the back of your skull.

I’ve never played World of Warcraft so I can’t imagine.

As someone who didn’t grow up playing Spyro, I’m enjoying Reignited Trilogy more than I expected.

One of my least favotite thing about ME1 is the lack of % indicators for systems,

also human armor was so damn ugly in this one,

Finished Champion’s Ballad, beat Maz Koshia and got the motorcycle. Fun DLC.
The only things I have left in BOTW to do are get the rest of the korok seeds, the remaining side quests, all areas and upgrade armor sets. I’ll take my time with those if I do decide to go for 100% though.

I never bother going for 100% in most games, not worth the stress and anxiety.

Has this ever happened to you- You are in a group, fighting a tough enemy and out of nowhere the other players leave you alone to fight it.

At some point, even the bots will leave the game.

It’s funny how every single time I end up going into fight for your life mode in the Warrior’s arena, every single enemy aside from the Warrior itself decides to suddenly vanish off the face of Pandora.

Is it too much to ask that I spend at least a little bit of this fight not being on fire? It eats through my shield so quickly that frankly I feel like there wouldn’t be much a difference if I didn’t have one.

After suffering a frankly astonishing number of deaths, it’s over.
The Warrior is dead. And so is Handsome Jack.
Even got to do what I did last time, and put a bullet through that smarmy son of a bitch’s skull with a gun from his own company.
But do I feel a sense of accomplishment?
No.
No I don’t.
Even though I killed him, after all the humiliation I went through just to get to that point, it feels like that jackhole still won in the end.

Anyway, with that taken care of I’ve got a shit-ton of DLC to burn through. I have to admit, I’ll be going in blind for a good chunk of them, because I didn’t get all the DLC when borderlands 2 first came out.

Well if anyone has been wanting to buy FFXIV but hasn’t been able to due to the suspension of game sales, they’ll be putting it back up for sale on Jan 25th, which also coincides with the new Oceania data center. Free trial creation may come later, assuming things go smoothly.

The news of expansions for the other data centers is also welcome to hear, especially if we see anymore large waves of players jumping ship from WoW.

Well, having finished BotW, and doing most of what the game has to offer (except for Korok seeds and most side quests, as well as upgrading all the armor), I think I’d say it’s become one of if not my favorite Zelda.

So, when is Baldur’s Gate 2 suppose to get good?
