ok since this thread is apparently about me now, me faving the foalcon pic earlier today was a fuckup on account of me being stupid. i’m very wanton with my faves and i’ll often just blanket-fave a bunch of pics on the main page all at once so i didn’t even notice i faved the foalcon one until you pointed it out. that happens to me embarrassingly often but i usually catch myself shortly afterwards; this time i didn’t. took the liberty of unfaving it though.
 
to be frank, i’m not necessarily in favor of a blanket ban on foalcon, partially for the reason you stated earlier that pedos could potentially use any kind of porn to groom kids, not just foalcon. it’s just that i no longer condone or promote foalcon art like i used to back in my “all art is actually harmless” days. if it goes bye-bye i won’t really miss it but if it stays, in all honestly i won’t particularly care. not that potential for child sexual exploitation isn’t serious, but right now i think derpi has slightly bigger fish to fry.

ok the cozy glow ones i’ll give you; i can’t believe i didn’t catch that. i’ll admit, up until fairly recently i used to fav any foalcon pic that i liked until i started to feel increasingly guilty about potentially promoting material that could be used to harm others and i gotta say it’s been a tough habit to break. again, my stance on foalcon isn’t an outright “ban it all” (although i wouldn’t be sad if they did), just “don’t condone it, don’t promote it, and try and keep it properly categorized and hidden and out of the hands of potential predators if at all possible.” i think part of the reason i’m so much more vocal about nazi stuff rn than foalcon is that nazi stuff is generally WAY more brazen and public and is easy to identify and fight back against while child groomers stay out of sight, which makes them way harder to combat.
 
also i’m gonna rules-lawyer for the enookie pic, if you ask me that one barely counts.

How about you don’t?, how about you understand the circunstances that lead you to like those pictures, and instead of assuming only pedos and nazis create that kind of stuff, its people with equal mindset as you in the past?

So at what point is someone going to mention that the “Nazi art creates/enables Nazis” argument and the “foalcon art creates/enables pedophiles” argument are the exact same thing as the “violent video games create/enable violence” argument?

There is a torrent of spam nowadays, endless YCHs with dozen separate images posted, random fads driving up the random image volume, people reposting same shit or translations, etc

ACKSHUALLY, the thing is that Foalcon allows those with pedophilic tendencies to heathily work those feelings out and keeps them from actually acting on those desires in reality.
 
But Nazis are totally unequivocally bad and should have no place anywhere even in satire because it has the possibility of radicalizing someone into becoming a Nazi in real life. That’s why we need to censor things like Aryanne, The Producers, and Hogan’s Heroes, they all must be purged like Arthas did to Stratholme to prevent the rise of Conservati- I mean Nazism from spreading before this November.

Just letting pro-deplatforming friends know that every time these things happen, whether it is a mass purge like Reddit nuking r/the_donald, or a huge change in policy in a community such as this, 4chan sees an influx of newcomers. So intead of preventing the supposed spread of nazism (which works to an extent) you are pushing a lot of otherwise moderate people who just want to shitpost and be edgy all the way to 4chan.
 
People seek to circumvent censorship, it’s what they do. But do keep letting internet moderators and companies morally police your speech as they see fit. At least they aren’t the government! and props on making Aryanne the most popular she has ever been.

From lurking the Derpibooru threads on /mlp/, they’ve been uploading images of old posts from 2014 surrounding Aryanne’s creation, which seems to explain the spike in the “nazi” tag on the graph that year.
 
Trolls on Flockdraw had the tendency to put swastikas on things, and the relatively nondescript pony that would become Aryanne was created when a swastika was randomly slapped onto her heart cutie mark. The artist that drew her just decided to run with it and eventually someone started threads about her on /mlp/, fully anticipating anti-nazi rage and fully acknowledging that she’s a fetish artist’s creation and a nazi stereotype for anons to mess around with.
 
Now her random origins and her creator’s intial intentions do not necessarily mean Aryanne wasn’t appropriated later by the actual far right. I could dump my opinion on that line of reasoning, but I think that’d just be a rehash of everything we’ve seen over the past several days. I’m more interested in realizing the connection between her early 4chan posts and Derpibooru’s statistics.

See all those stones? They all have a small photo/painting + name. Those are all of his regime’s victims from each city.
 
So take those civil war statues, and ring them with the names and images of the slaves they owned!  
Or any abolitionists or native Americans they executed for fighting for their freedom or something similar.  
Now these statues have a full history attached to each one!  
For those with less (ahem) ‘problematic records’ (only like ten or so infractions) you could put individual statues + plaques of each, so now everyone gets a full history!
