Elusive is like the Sanji of the group. A chivalrous sophisticated pervert who is kind of a simp. And he always gets into fights with male AJ who is like the Zoro of the group. Like the straight man and the dad of the group.
 
And thus these two powerful stallions often get into almost life threatening fights with each other over petty things.

Also side note: I like Eqg because it allows alternate character interpreations. Like maybe Eqg RD is smarter than the original one.

EqG RD sucks at science… except for aeronautics. For some reason she’s really good at understanding the physics and engineering behind flight. Air Force recruiters visit the school twice a year, at minimum. RD also beat Twilight at a science fair, once. The school had a tough time explaining how a student launched herself into the atmosphere without anyone noticing.

Eqg Rarity unironically cried during The Room. It was very annoying. Fluttershy had to counsel her for hours.

Celestia is NOT bad at acting. She’s actually very good at acting. So good that in ‘Horse Play,’ she fooled everybody, including professional actors, into thinking she couldn’t act so she could pull an ‘Emperor’s New Clothes’ maneuver and see who was honest enough to actually tell her she was “bad.” She wasn’t expecting much from most of her subjects (and was just toying with the Method Mares for her own amusement) because she was mainly trying to test the Mane Six, and especially Twilight. When she caught them talking about her behind her back, she feigned offense to shock Twilight into doing better when in reality she was just mildly disappointed.

A true actress of actresses. This headcanon’s actually a little scary. I wouldn’t want to be her enemy.

It wouldn’t be the first time. Consider “The Ticket Master” - Celestia had just met all five of Twilight’s new friends at the end of the last episode, and was fully aware of the role they played in dealing with Nightmare Moon. Yet she sent only one extra ticket. Except that Twilight actually passed that one.

The main alternate theory (although it could just be a layer of plausible deniability) is that that was done by functionaries largely without Celestia’s involvement.
 
As for the Horse Play theory… I dunno if that makes the ep better or worse, to be honest…

The extra ticket was meant for Spike. It wasn’t an issue until he decided not to go and the others showed interest in going. Whether she sent them herself or not is mostly irrelevant.
