I will admit I was disappointed to see that too. I had hoped to see them make some new characters or reuse other characters who weren’t in the G4 main cast.
 
Hrm. Still, the leaks are of concept art and early development. Given that there’s two years and change until the G5 show actually launched, I suppose it’s still possible some things will change.

well, we have two (maybe three) spots left (possibly), so either the rest are unchanged, are new to the party, or four is all we get.

OK. I’m disappointed in them just changing the race of half the Mane Six instead of creating new characters. Why not just make it in the future, with a new team learning from the older Mane Six?

If I may be honestly, I would love it if they asked people to mail them next-gen characters ideas (either from the Mane Six or anyone else, even characters that don’t have any parents from the show), both for the chaos and a chance for one of mine (Rosy) to be canon.

NO, that would be a pretty bad idea.
 
If ti was for a minor character in the background, yeah i can see it, but for the main characters, eaving the designs up for the fans?  
No, that would just not be worth it.

Sheesh, i’m too stupid to find the new leaks. I only heard that Voice actor of AJ will be black? Princess Novo was, too.  
As long as she doesn’t speak like “what’s up, dawg?” and “fo shizzle”… Enough with all the yeehaaw’s and stuff xD

Now, I’m really hoping to see to some sea ponies in G5. Maybe like the G1 variety, with the singing.

Do you think they will keep alicorns in G5?
