Speaking of Applejack, is the reason why she’s a “silly pony” because she may have a wee bit of a drinking problem?

That second image of the toy, that’s actually a mold from G3. I didn’t know this until now, but in 2010 Hasbro released a whole series of these miniature G1 throwbacks. They were called the Dolly Mix. It think it just goes to show how the G3 toys were in many ways a direct nod to G1, and perhaps even an improvement in some respects (yay smiling ponies).
